Roller Skiing: TBD

Dryland Training: TBD

Equipment

Running & ski stride:

– Runners.

– Ski stride poles (classic poles or poles 3-5cm shorter than classic).

– Gloves & a buff or hat.

– Windproof jacket.

– Water (~500ml).

– Snack for end.

Roller Ski Gear:

– Helmet: CSA approved bike helmet is best.

– XC Ski boots: Bring a sturdy boot (good ankle support) as this will make it easier to balance. Don’t bring an old beat-up boot as this will make balance a lot harder. Boots must be NNN binding compatible.

– Poles: roller ski tips are best BUT if you don’t have them then just give your winter poles a quick sharper with a file. If your poles have a good point already then, you’ll be ok.

– Gloves: To protect your hands from blisters and avoid slippery hands from sweat.

– Protection: knee and elbow, hip pads
