Dates: Saturdays – January 17, 24, 31 & February 7, 14, 21
Time: 12:30 pm –1:45 pm
Location: Elkwater, Cypress Hills Interprovincial park (other locations such as Kin Coulee Park, Medicine Hat may be used if snow is sufficient)
Program Fee: $120 + Cypress Nordic membership+ Canada Biathlon membership $35
Small class sizes: Minimum 4 / Maximum 12 participants
**If a session is cancelled due to insufficient registration, a full refund will be provided
Program Description
- Improve classic and/or skate skiing techniques
- Introduction to biathlon using Ecoaims optical (camera) systems
- ✅ Completely safe — no projectiles, no lasers
- A fun, social environment for recreational and competitive athletes
Equipment & Clothing
- 1 pair each of skate and/or classic skis, poles and boots (combi boots not recommended)*
- Grip and glide wax for all conditions
- Backpack that can carry water, weather appropriate training clothes
*Coaches will assist in sizing and selection of equipment at early season ski sales.
