Location: Elkwater, Cypress Hills Interprovincial park (other locations such as Kin Coulee Park, Medicine Hat may be used if snow is sufficient)
Program Fee: $120 + Cypress Nordic membership
New Two lesson package– Jan 9 and Jan 23/ 2027
Small class sizes: Minimum 4/ Maximum 8 participants
**If a session is cancelled due to insufficient registration, a full refund will be provided
Program Description
- Learn-to-ski skate style or improve your skill in skate ski techniques
- Some classic ski experience is recommended
- Focus on the basic building blocks of skate ski techniques
- A welcoming environment where recreational skiers can connect, train and enjoy fitness together
Equipment & Clothing
- Skate skis, poles and boots
- Grip and glide wax for all conditions
- Backpack that can carry water, weather appropriate training clothes
*Coaches will assist in sizing and selection of equipment at early season ski sales.
